Click on a picture that you know the words for. Click on the matching words. If you are right the picture and writing disappear. If you are wrong you get a wrong sound, and can try again.

Sports Pelmanism is a simple game of matching pictures to the correct words Pelmanism is a free game for ESL EFL learners of English Use pelmanism with our other English games and simple English lessons to have fun learning English Key features of pelmanism from English Activities All the pictures and all the words are on the screen from the start The learner has to match the pictures to the correct words by clicking Correctly matching picture and words removes those items from the board The words can be heard if you switch on the sound button beside the board Pelmanism is a timed game that you can play multiple times The game keeps count of how many matches you got right and wrong back to top How to play Pelmanism to learn in English Sports Select the Pelmanism game from the games selection page. On the settings page there are brief instructions on how to play. Click on PLAY to start the game. The game is timed and the clock starts when you enter the play screen. The English audio is switched off but you can switch it on by clicking the brown telephone button. The audio will play when you roll-over any text. Select a picture by clicking on it. Now click on the English text that matches the picture you have selected. Correct matches remove both the picture and the text revealing parts of a large picture beneath. Continue matching pictures to vocabulary until you have cleared all the cells and revealed the big picture. Upon completion, you can choose an option from the green sign. back to top
