You are playing against the computer which selects a word or phrase from your selected topic Numbers - to 100 (2). You must guess the letters in the words before you are hung. Wrong guesses add elements to the gallows that is gradually built on the beach, and the sky darkens and the clouds gather unless you guess correctly...the game ends either with you safely guessing the text and having a little dance, or with your character dangling from the gallows...
Make sure you do the simple lesson for your topic before attempting this hangman game or you may find it quite difficult...
How to play Hangman to learn more Numbers to 100 in English
- Select "Hangman" from the English games page.
- On the settings screen you can change topic or click "PLAY" to start the game.
- The scene is a beach - there is a English keyboard and empty numbered spaces for a English word or phrase.
- Spaces between words are marked by an underscore ( _ ) while other punctuation (.,-') is filled in for you.
- Guess letters in the word or phrase by clicking keys on the keyboard.
- Correct guesses add that letter to the appropriate spaces in the word or phrase.
- Wrong guesses add pieces to the gallows and hangman. Wrong letters are displayed above the keyboard with a cross next to them.
- Continue guessing until you complete the English word or phrase, or your character is hung.
- If you win, you get to see the happy man animation and to hear some clapping.
- If you lose, no animation, no music, just some gloomy boings - switch them off by clicking on the gallows.
- You can play multiple rounds and the program will keep your score against the computer.
